Polar is pleased to announce Leading Edge Equipment in Michigan, ND, as the 2022 Polar Business of the Year.
Leading Edge is a family-owned John Deere dealership, currently in their third generation of family ownership. They provide agricultural, lawn and garden, and compact construction equipment, service, and parts. Originally founded in 1963, the company has grown to include locations in Devils Lake, Hampden, and Carrington.
Polar has been awarding Business of the Year recipients since 2006. Businesses are nominated by Polar employees based on business excellence, customer relations, community service, recognition of achievements and innovation of products and services.
Leading Edge Equipment embodies these qualities and more. They will be celebrating their 60th year in business in 2023. Their core values remain the same as they were in 1963 – they believe “people buy from people” and value their customer, employee, and supplier relationships above all else. Along with being a generationally owned family business, they’ve seen the same in the generations of customers they serve and people they employ. “Even with all of today’s technology, we’re still a people business,” states owner Jim Vasichek.
