The Board of Directors of Polar Communications appointed Gordon L. Johnson to the Director position for District 1.
Gordon recently retired as General Manager of Northeast Regional Water District after 43 years of employment. He attended UND and ND State College of Science, where he earned an associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology. In his career, he served on many local, state, and federal water projects. He has also served as Akra Township Supervisor, on the Cavalier School Board, Renwick Dam Project, Cavalier School Building Committee and numerous committees involving the ND Rural Water Association and Red River Valley Water Supply Project. Gordon and his wife Debbie reside in rural Cavalier.
