Summary

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting and performing the duties outlined below.

This position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager. In the absence of the Human Resources Manager, the position reports to the General Manager/CEO.

The Marketing Specialist is expected to collaborate effectively with all departments to support the organization’s overall goals, as directed by Human Resources.

The employee will work a regular 40-hour work week. This position is eligible for overtime.

Compensation will be determined in accordance with the wage scale established by the labor contract. The employee is required to adhere to all approved company policies and will receive the benefits and privileges outlined therein.

The Marketing Specialist must demonstrate a positive attitude. This role also requires the ability to interact with customers as needed and consistently deliver a high level of customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote broadband, voice, and related telecom services across digital and traditional channels
  • Create and manage content for websites, email campaigns, social media, and customer communications, highlighting service offerings and promotions
  • Analyze campaign performance, subscriber growth, and retention metrics; provide reporting and recommendations for improvement
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, service gaps, and competitive positioning within the telecom industry
  • Collaborate with operations, customer service, and sales teams to align marketing efforts with service availability, upgrades, and customer experience initiatives
  • Maintain brand consistency across all materials, ensuring clear and accurate communication of technical services and offerings
  • Manage social media presence, including customer engagement, reputation management, and promotion of service updates or outages
  • Support product launches, service expansions (e.g., fiber builds), and community outreach events to drive awareness and adoption
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Advanced ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.
  • Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, email, social, and print).
  • Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms such as CRM systems, email marketing software, and social media management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and optimize campaign performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into customer-friendly messaging.
  • Knowledge of broadband, fiber, voice services, or telecommunications products preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency.

Education and/or experience

Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
